breck snow sculptures

today andy and i went to breck with katie and pete to check out the international snow sculpting contest that ended in breck today. it was very snowy and a little chilly, but a lot of fun. these are my two favorite sculptures. my school also entered into the contest (in the school section). they won the award of "most ambitious."

soup's on

We have been helping at the soup kitchen in Frisco for the past year. People come from all kinds of places to enjoy a hot meal and hang out. You all should come Friday nights to enjoy a bowl of soup! This guy is a semi-regular although I don't know his name yet.

This is a Jerie and Jillian enjoying their soup. Bill and Jerie have taken over the organization for Immanuel Fellowship's (our church) monthly night of running the kitchen.

parks are fun!

Tyler and I went to Trygve's Terrain Park and the Freeway Super Park at Breckenridge to practice our stuff. Here is a shot of us on the bus to the parking lot. Actual "stuff" photos were taken on Tyler's camera and can be seen at Tyler's site. Check it out!

sledding

Yesterday we went sledding with some friends in Silverthorne. This is one of the only pictures we got, but we might get some more up later. Jillian hit a jump landed on her head and her knee hit her in the face. She tried to show me her bruises this morning, but I couldn't see much. There are more pics on Pete and Katie's blog.
