Well we have had some requests for more blog postings since we haven't posted in a long time now. Sorry about that. Life happens. Here is a picture from our deck of emergency vehicles removing the second car from Lake Dillon this winter. The first one didn't break through the ice and landed right side up and tried to drive on the ice along the side of the lake to get out. It progressed for a while then got stuck in deep snow. We couldn't tell if this car broke through the ice or not. How exciting.
We have been getting a bit more snow lately, but temps are still high and melting is rapid. Enlarge this picture and take a look at the snowman. Poor guy!
